Ingredients:
(Makes 6 McGriddles)
- 120g Kodiak Buttermilk Pancake Mix (makes 12 mini pancakes for 6 McGriddles)
- 90 ml sugar free maple syrup
- Water to add to pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cup egg whites
- 3/4 cup fat free cheese
- 6 Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Patties
Instructions:
Pancake Buns:
1. Combine 120g Kodiak mix, 90ml of sugar free syrup and water until desired consistency
2. Spray muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray and pour batter evenly into 12 muffin tins
3. Bake at 350 until golden brown
Eggs:
1. Spray muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray
2. Place 1/4 egg whites into 6 tins
3. Bake at 350 until cooked (keep an eye on these! I don’t have an exact cook time)
4. Divide 3/4 cup of non-fat cheese evenly between the 6 eggs
Sausage:
1. Cook your patty in the microwave for 30-60 seconds
Assemble your McGriddle and enjoy!
Side note: I cooked the egg whites in separate muffin tins that way everything fits together on the sandwich a little bit better (as seen in photo) - making this the perfect grab & go breakfast.
